Jean Grothman, 74, of Oak Harbor, died Feb. 14, 2007, in Oak Harbor. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Jan. 3, 1933, to Thomas Patrick and Adelaide Liete (Belosa) Milam. In 1959, she married Charles Frances Meehan and they moved to California. They later divorced, then married again in 1969.

She worked for General Electric, where she retired after nearly 20 years in 1983. On June 23, 1984, she married Robert Grothman. She enjoyed cooking and collecting recipes.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Grecco and her husband Rick of Oak Harbor, and Sharon Munn and her husband Mark of Orange, Calif.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1990; both parents; a brother, Joseph Milam; and a sister, Anne Correnti.

Services were held Feb. 19 at Burley Funeral Chapel in Oak Harbor. Pastor Laurie Johnson officiated.
