June Hartley, 66, passed away on August 15, 2005, after an extended illness, at her home in Oak Harbor. She was born June 27, 1939 in Duluth, Minn. to John and Gertrude Nordstrom Ostrom.

June was the weekend manager at Summerhill Assisted Living in Oak Harbor for several years, a member of the Oak Harbor First United Methodist Church and a beloved member of the community. She loved teaching Sunday school and was an avid tole painter.

June is survived by her husband Russell Hartley at the family home, as well as three daughters: Terri McGuire, Glenda Keselburg and Karen Campbel, and a son Michael McGuire. She also leaves stepchildren William, Debra, Kimberly and Robert, along with 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Oak Harbor First United Methodist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel.
