Kenneth Lief Kodalen passed away May 1, 2008, in Bremerton, at age 90. Ken was born to Sigurd and Hannah Kodalen on March 31, 1918, in Great Falls, Mont. He married Margaret Cameron on Sept. 22, 1939. They made their first home in Great Falls, Mont., where they enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. In 2000, Peg and Ken moved to Poulsbo to reside with their son, Robert.

Peg and Ken were married 61 years when Peg died, June 23, 2002.

Ken is survived by his sister, Marie Bungay; sons Robert and wife Donna, KC and wife Sarah; grandchildren Steve Kodalen, Kelley Arena and Kimberly Kodalen; great-grandchildren Kyle and Connor Kodalen, Travis and Mathew Arena.

A Memorial Service was held May 9 at The Stone Chapel, Poulsbo. An online memorial may be viewed at www.lewischapel.com.
