Larry McMaster, 66, passed away on April 12, 2021 in Coupeville, Wash., while being hospitalized.
Born in Anacortes, Wash., in 1955 to Robert Leslie McMaster and Lyla Mae (Borden), he lived most of his life on Whidbey Island, graduating from Langley High School in 1974. He was a proud third-generation builder/wood craftsman, building homes with his father in Alaska, Catalina Island and the Caribbean. He established his own construction company on Whidbey Island, building many fine homes and quality structures.
Larry married Kim Buchanan in 1976. Well known on Whidbey, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club and Island County Sheriffs Posse for several years.
He leaves behind his former wife Kim; daughter Mysti (Chris Dance); grandson Taylor Dance; and granddaughter Katelyn Dance. He is also survived by sisters Connie and Lori and brother Steve.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the M-BAR-C Ranch, Freeland, Wash., at a later date
