Laura Evans passed away May 14, 2008, at her Oak Harbor home, following a year-long fight with brain cancer. She was full of love and life and shared her spirit and love of the Lord with everyone she met. Laura was extremely active in the community and was a large advocate in the school district for children with disabilities. She follows her mother Jennie and her niece Sammie Leigh.

She is survived by her husband Richard; her children Jennifer, Kathleen, Angela, Richard and son-in-law Brian; her father Ed Judge; her siblings Paulette, John and James. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 7, at 1 p.m. at New Covenant Fellowship. Arrangements are with the assistance of Whidbey Memorial Funeral and Cremation Service, Inc., Oak Harbor.
