Leonelva (Lee) Madigan, of Oak Harbor, Washington, passed away on December 28th, 2023, comfortably at home with her husband and stepdaughter. Leonelva bravely fought a six month battle with pancreatic cancerthat spread to other organs. Diagnosed on her birthday, June 3rd, she graced us with her presence for one last Christmas before peacefully leaving this world.
Leonelva lived a fulfilling life as a beautiful and outgoing woman with a contagious laugh. Her passion for life was evident in her extensive career as an executive chef. Leonelva also found solace in her garden, where she nurtured a variety of flowers and trees and delighted in the company of hummingbirds.
Leonelva is survived by her devoted husband, Richard. Her children Keli, Bradley, and Parker. Her sisters, Jackie and Kimberly, and five beloved grandchildren: Sophia, Haylee, Allie, Ryley, and Charley.
A Celebration of Life for Leonelva will be held in the near future, and details will be conveyed via invitations. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests making a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or the American Cancer Society in her memory.
May Leonelva’s laughter and love continue to echo in our hearts. She will be deeply missed, and forever loved and remembered.
