In loving memory of Lillian “Edie” White. Edie passed away on Jan. 16, 2006, after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born June 21, 1946 in Prince Rupert, B.C., to Frederick and Grace (Weatherly) Schlicker.

Edie was employed for more than 13 years at the Flight Simulator Unit at NAS Whidbey Island. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Edie is survived by her daughter Stacey Contave and son-in-law Eliot of Everett, and one stepson Dennis White, Jr. of California; by one sister Diane Blaney and one grandchild, Devon White.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Burley Funderal Chapel. A reception for family and friends will follow. Private family inurnment will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor.
