Lily Adele Murray Crowley died Nov. 18, 2008. She was born Jan. 12, 1918 to Walter and Marie Grizzle. Lily was raised in East Wenatchee until her marriage to Cleo Murray. They lived in the Entiat Valley where they had a fruit, vegetable and flower business. Here their son, Lee, was born and died at the age of eight. They later moved to Oak Harbor where they lived for many years. After the death of Cleo, Lily later married Walter Crowley, and they had many happy years together.

Lily is survived by two nieces and many friends. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she looked forward to a resurrection where she would live in paradise as Jesus promised.

There will be a memorial service Sunday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. at the Oak Harbor Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 301 NE Ronhaar St.
