Linda Louise Curtis Gallatin

Linda Louise Curtis Gallatin, age 68, a member of the Oak Harbor community for the past 34 years, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2016, at Island Hospital in Anacortes.

Linda was born in Norwich, N.Y., on Jan. 1, 1948, to James and Mary (Wolcott) Curtis.

She lived in many places around the world, but was always a small town girl and the daughter of a dairyman at heart. Linda lived much of her life in Ramona, Calif., but settled with her husband J.D. Gallatin in Oak Harbor in 1982.

She enjoyed her work as a server at Henderson’s restaurant for 11 years, before retiring and becoming a full-time wife and grandmother. Linda is survived by her husband J.D.; mother Mary; children, Kim and Jimmy; four sisters, Ami, Bonnie, Bitsy and Beth; four brothers, David, Lonnie, Ricky and Gary; and her seven grandchildren Jessica, Samantha, Alex, Emily Louise, Jarred, Taylor and Stephanie. Her legacy is her loving family, all of whom miss her greatly and wait to be reunited with her again.

Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., Anacortes, Wash. and the San Juan Islands. To share memories of Linda, please sign the online guest register at www.evanschapel.com
