Lloyd Walter Evans, 77, a resident of Mount Vernon and a former resident of Oak Harbor, died May 29, 2002, at home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 1 at 11 a.m. at the Kern Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Vernon. Cremation was held at the Mount Vernon Crematory, under the direction of the Kern Funeral Home, Mount Vernon.
