Maida Lee Dixon, 63, a resident of DuBois, Penn., and formerly of Oak Harbor, died April 23, 2007 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburg.
She was born Dec. 9, 1943 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to the late King and Audrey (Applegarth) Roberts. She was married Jan. 12, 2006 in Las Vegas to Gary G. Dixon.
Maida Lee Dixon was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and Skagit Valley College with an AA in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and the former owner of Lavender Gardens Personal Care Home in Oak Harbor. She enjoyed her family, boating and RV camping.
She is survived by her husband, Gary G. Dixon, of DuBois; two sons, Edwin R. Perkins and wife Shannon of Spokane, and Carl A. Pekins and wife Nicole of Newark, Del.; one daughter, Colleen R. Perkins of Spokane; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Roth of Martins Ferry and Mrs. Tracey White of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one brother, Thomas Roberts of Martins Ferry; and four grandchildren.
