Mariantonia ( Antoinette ~Ann) Gnozzo was born in New York City, NY to Rosa and Donato Gnozzo in 1922.
She had a long business career as a translator/legal secretary at Generalli International, followed by being an executive administrator to the CEO of PaineWebber NYC before retiring to Staten island in 1977.
She was active in the Great Kills friendship club and Red Hat Club.
In 1989, Ann moved to the Maple Ridge Community on Whidbey Island, Wash. Her love for fun continued as she enjoyed her retirement on Whidbey Island.
The Red Hat Club, and many social activity’s at the Senior Center, especially dancing to the Fun Band, kept Ann busy and entertained.
Ann had a passion for fun. She was known to show up in a holiday costumes or one of her amazing “Ann-designed” hats for every occasion. Ann was a dedicated parishioner of St Huberts.
She will be missed by all she met, always sharing a friendly greeting or joke.
Ann leaves a hole in the heart of her 13 nieces and nephews, but a lasting impression of family dedication and many joyful memories.
A private graveside ceremony will be held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a place of worship that serves you.
