Marie K. Boyer, 66, of Oak Harbor, died Dec. 9, 2008, in Oak Harbor. She was born on May 19, 1942, in Nelson, Alberta, Canada.

Marie was a member of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Oak Harbor.

She is survived by daughter Joyce and husband Brian Smith of Oak Harbor; step-daughters Martha Parker of Oak Harbor and Cheri Patrick of Texas; three grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burley Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
