Nadine Scheer beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully Jan. 6, 2005, after a lengthy battle with cancer at the family home.

Nadine was born on January 2, 1931 in Scio, Ore. Nadine married Victor Scheer Feb. 17, 1949, in Reno, Nev., later moving to Oak Harbor in 1954. She was a homemaker in addition to being involved in raising Arabian horses and dahlias.

Nadine is survived by her loving husband Victor E. Scheer, residing at their family home. Also survived by her daughter Vicki Scheer and her three sons and three grandchildren. Her son David Scheer and his wife Debbie along with their children Jennifer, Kevin, Carrie, Brian and their granddaughter Kaitlinn Scheer. Nadine will be sadly missed by all who loved her. No services are planned.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Burley Funeral Chapel.
