Paul Henry Stanwood was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, on Oct. 6, 1938. Despite a lifetime with cerebral palsy, he enjoyed an independent, productive and optimistic life. He will be remembered fondly by his sister Sue Carrico, brother Les Stanwood, numerous nieces and nephews, and a trail of friends stretching from Silverado, Calif., to Toby’s Tavern, Coupeville.
Goodbye, Paul. May you run like the wind, speak like a song, and stand straight and still at the altar of eternity.
Remembrances may to made to United Cerebral Palsy (www.ucp.org).
