Robert O. Willingham passed in Kirkland Friday, March 13, at the age of 51 after a five-year battle against cancer.
He is survived by his wife of nine years, Gantuya Willingham; his daughter, Amanda, aged 7; along with his mother, Hilary, of Oak Harbor.
Robert was born in Seattle and graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1982 and from the University of Washington in 1986. He worked at Eddie Bauer as a network specialist for the last 28 years.
Robert’s determination to provide the best possible life for his family, even while battling for his own life against his cancer, made him an inspiration to everyone around him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation.
