Roberta “Bobbie” Kay Carolus Morton passed peacefully at Island Hospital in Anacortes, WA on November 12th, 2024. Bobbie was born in Yakima, WA on May 7th, 1946 to Noella Belaire Carolus and John Carolus. Bobbie went to school in Yakima, where she met and married Michael “Mike” Morton, her husband of 58 years.
She was well known for her work within the medical community, having worked as a medical office manager before starting and running her own business as a medical management consultant. She was also well known for her active presence on the Oak Harbor Public School District school board and served as the president of the board.
Bobbie is remembered for her tenacity, generosity, positivity, and genuine love for all those she cared about, most notably her family. This is a loose term, however, as Bobbie treated everyone like family, and went out of her way to bring happiness and joy to others.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Leah Ann Carolus Bowen. She is survived by her husband, Michael Morton; her brother Raymond and spouse Julie Carolus; her 4 children and spouses, Lisa & Jim McDavid, Kris Morton & Misty Green, Victoria & Scott Ellis, and Craig & Fiona Morton; and her 6 grandchildren, Kaiden & Keston Morton & their mother Kimberly Stockdaile Morton, Hannah & Noah Ellis, and Kelt & Kayla Morton.
A burial was previously held at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Moxee, WA.
A celebration of life will be held at the Wallin Stucky Funeral Home in Oak Harbor, WA on November 30th, 2024 at 1:00pm. Public welcome to attend.
