Robin Lea Nadine Fellows, 46, of Oak Harbor, died Aug. 26, 2007, at her home in Oak Harbor. She was born in Vincennes, Ind., on Dec. 22, 1960, to Kenneth and Beverly (McNew) Deisher. Always on the move, her family spent time in Tennessee and Illinois before settling down in Fredericktown, Mo., where Robin graduated from high school. Here she met and married George Fellows, and together they moved to Colorado, where their first son was born.
Her husband’s service in the United States Navy eventually brought them to Oak Harbor in 1987. They later divorced. Robin worked for Alaska Federal Credit Union, and Service Alternatives where she met many friends. She continued her education at Herzing College where she studied medical billing and insurance, and enjoyed crafts, especially cross-stitch and crochet.
She is survived by her sons Shea and Andrew, both of Oak Harbor; her parents Kenneth and Beverly Deisher of Fredericktown, Mo.; brother Dan Deisher (and his wife Cheryl) of Ardmore, Okla.; sister Myota (and her husband Andrew) of Union, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Oak Harbor.
A trust fund has been set up in Robin’s name at People’s Bank in Coupeville. Donations for the children will be greatly appreciated by her family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel.
