Sue Dillard of Bellevue passed away Oct. 5, 2004, with her family at her side, after a short fight with cancer at University of Washington Hospital in Seattle. Sue was born in Tacoma March 25, 1947, to Ralph and Marjorie Loge.
She moved with her family to Oak Harbor when she was in junior high school. She graduated with Oak Harbor class of 1965. Sue married Dennis Dillard in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, April 1, 1967.
Sue is survived by her husband Dennis, at their home in Bellevue; daughters Denise Owens and her husband Burte of Monroe, Kristen Williams and her husband Nate of Monroe; son Dennis of Bellevue; granddaughters Kyla Owens and Nina Williams of Monroe; mother Marge Loge of Bellingham; sister Mary Fransvog and her husband Jim of Snohomish, Leah Fowler and her husband Rick of Bellingham; brother John Loge and his wife Karen of Bellingham; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Loge.
In Oak Harbor, Sue will be deeply missed by brothers and sisters-in-law Dan and Elaine Dillard, Duane and Lana Dillard, niece Danielle Dillard, nephew Greg Dillard and several friends.
Sue was a wonderful artist, cook, organizer, shopper, listener, friend, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. She related well with kids because she was always young at heart. Her smile and laughter will be missed.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Oct. 23, at Green Funeral Home, Bellevue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in the name of Sue Dillard to the UW Division of Gynecology Oncology, PO Box 356460, Seattle, WA 98195
