On Nov. 24, 2017, we lost our Suzie due to sudden heart failure. Even though it is a tremendous shock to her family and those who knew her and she will be missed greatly, we know where she is now. She had a deep abiding faith and love for our Lord Jesus as He does for her.
For those who knew her, they will remember her open, giving nature and her compassion for others. She was known around the Island as “the shell lady.” She always carried a supply of what she called “Angel Wings” shells which she would give out with a note of encouragement. She also carried several forks in her purse to give to people and tell them “save your fork because the best is yet to come.”
In compliance with her wishes, and her love for gardening, her family will be hosting a party in the spring to celebrate her life when her garden is in its full bloom.
