Todd Bruce, 51, of Everett, passed away peacefully on Nov. 11, 2007, at Providence Everett Hospital after a long illness.

Todd was born Dec. 22, 1955, to John G. and Caro (Jewett) Bruce in Coupeville. He attended Coupeville schools, later joining the Naval Sea Cadets, then the U.S. Navy. After the Navy he joined the Boeing Co. as a mechanic/machinist for 22 years.

Most recently he helped manage Moten Express in Everett with his partner, Susan Bailes.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, John B. and Cora (Jewett) Bruce; brother, John G. II Bruce; and brother, Thomas Bruce.

Surviving Todd are his loving partner, Susan Bailes; daugther, Heather Bruce of Longview, son Trevor Bruce of Everett, sister Nancy (Bruce) Evans of New Westminister, B.C., several nephews, a great niece and many dear friends.

Todd’s body was cremated and buried at the family plot in Sunnyside Cemetery in Coupeville. A graveside memorial will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m.
