Victoria (Vici) M. Lanning passed away at her home in Freeland, Washington on November 27, 2024. She was born on September 27, 1944 to Bill and Agnes Lanning and was raised on Whidbey Island where she graduated from Langley High School.

It was here on her family farm where her life-long love of animals and especially horses took root. She also loved watching the Seattle Seahawks and Mariners games on TV. However her greatest joys were watching her son Chad participate in rodeos and daughter Tracy present her art works at shows.

Vici was especially generous to people in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Agnes, brother, Bill Jr., son Chad, and daughter Tracy.

Vici is survived by her sister-in-law Amy Lanning, two grand children, friends and classmates.

A heartfelt thank you to Kathy, Vici’s dear friend who helped her on her final journey.
