Two Oak Harbor High School seniors signed letters of intent this week to play volleyball in college next fall.

Two Oak Harbor High School seniors signed letters of intent this week to play volleyball in college next fall.

Setter Jayne Payne signed with Western Washington University, while outside hitter Claire Anderson agreed to play for the University of Bridgeport (Conn.).

Payne, a Western Conference honorable mention player this season, led the Wildcats with 422 assists and was fourth in aces (13) and blocks (7.5) and fifth in digs (118).

Anderson, a two-time Wesco first-team selection, was first for Oak Harbor in kills (170), hitting efficiency (.244), passing average (2.05) and service percentage (.957). She was second in digs (150) and third in blocks (16).

Payne and Anderson were coached by Kerri Molitor.
