Three Wildcat United runners placed in the top five of their respective divisions at the 20th annual North Cascades Invitational middle school cross country meet in Sedro-Woolley Thursday, Sept. 26.
Oak Harbor and North Whidbey Middle School students combine to form Wildcat United.
Jillian Pape (10:18) and Megan Keating (10:23) finished 4-5 in the girls eighth-grade division to pace the Oak Harbor runners in the 12-team meet.
Ryan Vasileff (9:15) placed fifth in the eighth-grade race to lead the Oak Harbor boys.
Wildcat United will host home meets Oct 14 and 17 at Windjammer Park.
