Seven Whidbey Wildcat Wrestling Club members placed in the top four at the Little Mountain Rumble in Mount Vernon Sunday, Dec. 20.

Although the Wildcats fielded only 10 athletes in the tournament, they tied for eighth in the team standings.

T.J. Scott led WWWC by placing first, posting two falls on the way to the title.

Logan Clairmont (three pins), Tianne DesFountaine (two pins), Parker Anderson (one pin) and Elizabeth Clairmont all finished third.

Dylan Estes and Alexander both picked up one pin while placing fourth.

“There was a lot of good matches today,” coach Tom Clairmont said. “I’m am extremely proud of them all. Many of them had at least five matches today and wrestled each one of them aggressively.”
