The Western Conference announced its all-league teams Tuesday, March 1, and nine Oak Harbor High School athletes were honored.
Six Wildcats were first-team, All-North Division choices:
senior Dyllan Harris, basketball; senior Joe Gorman, swimming (200 freestyle); senior Eric Jensen, swimming (100 butterfly); junior Jose Cabigting, swimming (100 breaststroke); senior Dymond Piper, wrestling (152 pounds); and junior Sam Zook, wrestling (285).
Gorman and Jensen were also first team last year, and Cabigting earned first team honors in 2015 as a member of the medley relay team.
Harris was a second team choice last year and honorable mention as a sophomore.
In girls wrestling, the all-league selections were determined by the results of the sub-regional tournament, which featured all Wesco schools regardless of classification. Wildcat junior Meredith Bain (190) was named to the first team.
Senior boys basketball player Sean Erskine and junior girls basketball player Bryn Langrock were named to the honorable mention list.
Basketball was the only sport to have second team and honorable mention athletes.
