The North Whidbey Aquatic Club hosted its first meet in several years and received numerous wins from its 37-person contingent at the Halloween Invitational Oct. 24 and 25 at John Vanderzicht Pool.

Ashleigh Merrill, 12, won all 12 of her individual events to earn NWAC Swimmer of the Meet and division high-point honors.

Others finishing with the most points in their divisions were Haley Borja, 8 (eight wins); Jillian Pape, 15 (5), Micah Franklin, 14 (4), and Cole McCaslin, 18 (4).

Also winning events were Halle Johnson, 13 (1), Patty Miessner, 13 (3), Alana Miller, 10 (2), Chris Shashaty, 9 (1), and Nick Shashaty, 7 (3).
