Coupeville’s volleyball team dropped a 3-0 match at Archbishop Thomas Murphy Tuesday.
CHS coach Toni Crebbin was disappointed in the ease of the Wildcats’ 25-13, 25-9, 25-16 win over her squad.
Crebbin said, “We came out flat and they were really on.”
Crebbin said the Wolves had trouble generating any offense against ATM’s consistent defense at the net. She said, “They blocked us; we couldn’t stop their defense.”
The Wolves also had problems adjusting to the Wildcats’ quick set offense, according to Crebbin.
Julie Swankie collected 12 assists for Coupeville, and teammate Jessica Riddle had 17i digs and five kills.
The Wolves are now 5-5 in league play and 6-5 overall. Archbishop Murphy is 9-1.
Coupeville entertains Sultan at 7 p.m. Thursday.
