The North Whidbey Aquatic Club recently completed its 2015-16 short course season and it proved to be a record-breaking campaign.
The Blue Herons, coached by Richard Taylor, set 11 new club records, seven by Haley Borja.
Borja, 8, set new marks in the girls 8-and-under division in the 50-yard freestyle (31.98), 100 free (1:11.05), 200 free (2:42.7), 500 free (6:53.03), 50 backstroke (38.58), 50 butterfly (37.07) and 400 individual medley (6:34.31).
Alana Miller, 10, and Kiersten Tyson, 9, each posted one individual record and were the part of two record-setting relay teams in the girls 9/10 class.
Miller clocked a 30.57 in the 50 fly, and Tyson had a 6:11.94 in the 400 IM.
The pair joined Lea Opdyke, 10, and Lindsay Brown, 10, to swim the female 10-and-under 200 free relay in 2:01.81 and the 200 medley relay in 2:16.63.
