Marysville-Pilchuck defeated visiting Oak Harbor and Cascade on the Cedarcrest Golf Course Tuesday, April 20.
The Tomahawks won the match with a stroke total of 407, five better than Oak Harbor. Cascade finished with 438.
Oak Harbor’s Judd Ford had the second best individual score with a 78; Cascade’s Anthony Chiarelli carded a 74.
Jim Nguyen followed Ford with an 81 for Oak Harbor. Matt Fikse and Austin Fields each shot an 84, and Dan Klope an 85.
Oak Harbor is now in fifth place in the Wesco North standings with six points. Arlington leads the pack with nine. The North schools play a series of six three-team matches; the winning team gets three points, the second place team two and the third place team one.
Oak Harbor has been second in all three of its matches this season.
The medalist in each three-team match receives 18 points. Arlington’s Anthony Allen currently leads the North with 52.5 points after three matches, a half point ahead of Snohomish’s Tyler Hella. Ford is third at 51.5.
Fikse is the next highest Wildcats with 33 points, good for 16th.
Tomorrow, April 22, Oak Harbor hosts Everett and Stanwood at 3 p.m. at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club.
