Following the same pattern as in its first regular-season match, the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team won its second, a 254-291 victory at Everett at the Legion Golf Course Wednesday, March 25.

Following the same pattern as in its first regular-season match, the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team won its second, a 254-291 victory at Everett at the Legion Golf Course Wednesday, March 25.

Like at Stanwood last week, Oak Harbor shot the three best individual scores to roll to the win.

And, like at Stanwood, Resego Mooki (44, medalist), Hailey Beecher (46) and Marisa Sligh (50) posted those top-three scores.

Par for the nine-hole event was 36.

Tarra Baird (55) and Hannah Taylor (59) completed the Oak Harbor lineup.

Haley Burns led the Seagulls with a 52.

Oak Harbor is off until 11 a.m. Monday, April 13, when it plays in the Burlington Invitational at the Skagit Golf and Country Club.
