Coupeville’s Mitch Pelroy and Madison Tisa-McPhee each won three events at a three-team track meet at Cedarcrest Thursday, March 22.
The Wolves finished third as a team in both the boys and girls meets. Cedarcrest dominated the boys meet with 102 points, followed by Sultan with 37 and Coupeville with 26.
Sultan took the girls with 79 points, Cedarcrest had 66 and Coupeville 21.
Pelroy controlled the sprints, winning the 100 (11.82), 200 (24.1) and 400 (52.94).
Tisa-McPhee took both girls hurdle events (100, 17.52; 300, 51.28) and linked up with Katie Smith, Nicole Becker and Jai’Lysa Hoskins to win the 4×200 relay (1:55.64).
Shawn Kump won the boys high jump (4-08) and was seventh in the 200 (27.75); while Hoskins took the girls 100 (13.7), finished third in the 200 (29.6) and fourth in the high jump (4-04).
