The Wolves needed the win to clinch the Olympic League title, and Coupeville wasn’t about to let the visitors spoil the party.

Coupeville dominated the match with straight set wins. The third singles match ended in a draw and wasn’t completed because Chimacum/Port Townsend had to catch the ferry.

The Wolves (4-0, 5-3) play in the Olympic League 1A tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in Chimacum.

Singles: 1, Sebastian Davis won 6-1, 6-2; 2, Connor McCormick won 7-5, 7-6(7-1); 3, Nick Etzell tied 5-7, 5-4.

Doubles: Joseph Wedekind/John McClarin won 6-0, 6-1; 2, Joey Lippo/William Nelson won 6-1, 6-4; 3, Grey Rische/Jared Helmstadter won 6-2, 6-1; 4, Jimmy Myers/Lilan Sekigawa won 6-1, 6-0.
