The Arlington High School tennis team edged visiting Oak Harbor 4-3 Monday, May 4.

The Arlington High School tennis team edged visiting Oak Harbor 4-3 Monday, May 4.

With the loss, Oak Harbor (4-5, 5-9) will finish fourth in the Wesco North. The Wildcats have one league match left, hosting Marysville Getchell (6-3, 8-5) at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 5.

Oak Harbor will compete in the Wesco 3A North tournament at 1 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, May 12 and 13, at Stanwood High School.

Singles: 1, Makenzie Perry won 7-6(4), 6-3; 2, AnnaBelle Whitefoot won 6-4, 7-7(3); 3, Tamia Rios lost 7-5, 6-1; 4, Alyssa Eden won 6-1, 6-2.

Doubles: 1, Hannah Gluth/Patrice Woodworth lost 6-2, 6-3; 2, Ellysa Bonganay/Ria Bains lost 6-4, 7-5; 3, Erina Horikawa lost 6-1, 6-1.
