The Gallery Women’s Golf Club is holding its membership kick-off meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 21st, at the Gallery Golf Course.

The club meets April through October on Wednesday afternoons at various times to match the schedules of its members, and members are not required to attend every week.

Members receive special rates to play.

“It’s a fun group that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but we follow the rules,” club spokeswoman Rosemary Kunow said. “(We) have some fun games and tournaments and learn more about golf as we go along.”

Members have varied abilities, although some experience is desired, Kunow said.

Wednesday’s kick-off meeting is designed for prospective members “to find out what we’re all about,” Kunow said.
