Stanwood defeated the Oak Harbor High School girls tennis team 6-1 on the Spartans’ court Monday, March 22.

Erin Neilon nabbed Oak Harbor’s lone win 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in second singles.

Cady O’Dell lost in first singles 6-0, 6-0; Laurin Rico in second singles 6-1, 6-3; and Clarissa Abadesco in third singles 7-5, 1-6, 6-2.

Alexa Holmly and Jennifer Fremd fell in No. 1 doubles 6-1, 6-0; Jennifer Bowers and Kerry Rathsabanhdith in No. 2 doubles 6-2, 6-3; and Jordan Faralan and Shannon Neilon in No. 3 doubles 6-1, 6-1.

The Spartans are undefeated in three matches; Oak Harbor is 1-3.

The Wildcats play at Marysville-Pilchuck Wednesday, then host Everett Friday, March 26, at 3:45 p.m.
