Senior Joe Gorman’s 22nd place in the 500-yard freestyle highlighted Oak Harbor High School’s efforts at the Washington 3A state swim meet Friday, Feb. 19, in Federal Way.

Gorman posted a 5:28.93 in the 500 free. He also competed in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing 24th in 2:01.94.

The Wildcats’s other qualifier, senior Eric Jensen, placed 24th in the 100-yard butterfly in 59.9.
