Oak Harbor’s Alli Hoffmire competes in the Special Olympics Regional Aquatics Competition at the King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way Saturday, April 20.

Hoffmire, a member of the Fidalgo Flippers out of Anacortes, will swim the 1,500 free style, 200 individual medley and 200 breaststroke.

If Hoffmire wins a gold medal at the regional, she will earn a trip to the Special Olympics Washington State Games May 31 to June 2.
