Coupeville’s Kaida won Best in Show over 1,100 dogs at the Wichita Kennel Club Sunflower Cluster Dog Show in Valley Center, Kansas, April 6 to 9.

She also won Best in Specialty Show over 25 Shibas at the regional.

Langley’s Sandi Smith, co-owner and breeder, handled Kaida in Kansas.

This is Kaida’s second Best in Show and second Best in Specialty Show this past year along with her Best of Breed at the Eukanuba National Championships.

Kaida is the first Shiba bitch to win two or more Best In Shows with the American Kennel Club and only the second Shiba to win Best in Show more than once, according to co-owner John Schisel.
