Oak Harbor cross country runners took individual firsts and each team third in a four-way meet at Jackson High School Thursday.
Kyle King won the boys’ race in 13:02 over the 2.5 mile course. Allison Duvenez was the girls’ winner in 15:20.
Jackson, which is the No. 1 ranked boys’ cross country team in the nation, won the team race although it was missing its top two runners. Jackson runners finished third through ninth for 25 points. Arlington had 58, Oak Harbor 59, and Mariner 108.
Arlington took the girls’ race with 34 points, followed by Jackson with 40, Oak Harbor, 54, and Mariner, 119.
The next four finishers for the Wildcat boys were as follows: Matt Reith, 10th, 13:39; John Kaltenbach, 14th, 13:59; Matt Bolte, 16th, 14:04 ; and Chris Horn, 22nd, 14:14.
The next four OHHS girls were Adrianna Royal, fourth, 15:44; Jessica Denmon, 12th, 16:21; Ariel McCarter, 20th, 16:55; and Taylor Von Grey, 23rd, 17:23.
