Lake Stevens swept the singles matches en route to a 5-2 win over the host Oak Harbor tennis team Tuesday, March 15.

The Wildcats picked up their points in the 2016 opener in second and third doubles: Elma Marie Empinado/Ria Bains won 7-5, 4-6, 7-5; and Emma Wezeman/Emily Brown won 6-4, 7-5.

In singles, Tamia Rios lost 6-1, 6-0; AnnaBelle Whitefoot lost 6-4, 6-2; Lauren Aspery lost 6-0, 6-2; and Peyton Carlson lost 6-0, 6-2.

Brianne Guzman and Aelizah Espiritu fell 6-3, 6-1 in first doubles.

Oak Harbor goes to Lynnwood at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17.
