The Meadowdale High School boys basketball team put together a big fourth quarter to hold off visiting Oak Harbor in a 62-46 win Monday, Jan. 7.
The Mavericks (3-2, 7-4) led 44-40 going into the final period then outscored the Wildcats 18-6 to pull away.
Oak Harbor trailed 13-8 and 30-22 after the first two quarters.
Gavin Allen scored a season high 16 points to pace the Wildcats. Haven Brown added 10, Dorian Hardin 9, Matt Kelley 4, Austin Boesch 3, Kevin Schuldt 2 and Terrell Crumpton 2.
Three Mavericks scored in double figures led by Cole Nelson with 19.
Oak Harbor (2-3, 4-7) hosts Mountlake Terrace (3-2, 8-2) at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9.
