Collected its second consecutive conference win, the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team defeated Everett 271-324 Thursday, March 31, at the Whidbey Golf Club.

The Wildcats posted the top three scores, with Jessica Monaghan (48), Hannah Taylor (49) and Resego Mooki (50) finishing one stroke apart over nine holes.

Beth Paul shot 60, Terra Baird 64 and Suzanne Kaltenbach 68 on the par-36 course.

Haley Burns led Everett with a 56.

“We have some players really stepping up and competing,” coach Andy Wesley said. “We are doing great for this time in the season.”

Oak Harbor faces host Arlington, which has also won its two league matches, at the Gleneagle Golf Course at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 12.
