Battling heavy rain, wind and two opponents, the Oak Harbor track teams flew to easy wins at Wildcat Memorial Stadium Thursday, April 19.

Battling heavy rain, wind and two opponents, the Oak Harbor track teams flew to easy wins at Wildcat Memorial Stadium Thursday, April 19.

The Oak Harbor boys thumped Lynnwood 90-46 and Everett 97-38, while the girls whipped Lynnwood 123-18 and Everett 83-58.

Joshua Schrum led the Wildcat boys with wins in the 800 (2:10.4) and 1,600 (4:35.44), and teamed with Dejon Devroe, Chris Opdyke and Josiah Miller to win the 4×400 relay (3:43.5). The girls had three, two-time winners, Christina Wicker (800, 2:31.14; 1,600, 5:24.98),Raeanna Wynne (100 hurdles, 16.87; 300 hurdles, 52.84) and Ciera Wiser (high jump, 4-08; javelin, 92-03).

Wicker also won in the 4×400 relay with Christina Alexander, Maura McKole and Heather Dale (4:24.02); and Wiser won in the 4×200 relay with McKole, Sierra Seabolt and Jessica Hollins (1:53.67).

Also winning for the boys were Miller (100, 11.65), Opdyke (400, 52.88), Matt Reith (3,200, 10:17.59), Chris Hailer (high jump, 5-08), Devroe (long jump, 19) and Tucker Lundstrom (38-03).

Other girls placing first were McKole (200, 29.1) and Alex Laiblin (3,200, 12:12.1).

The Wildcats head to Langley for the Westling Invitational at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21.
