The Oak Harbor High School cheer team completed its third of three regular-season competitions Saturday, Jan. 26, at Curtis High School and earned a state-qualifying mark.
The Wildcats, coach Jazmin Jones and Jade Brown, will compete in the small, non-tumbling division at state Saturday, Feb. 2, at Battle Ground High School.
“(We) have been working very hard and improving each week,” assistant coach Brown said. “Every week we try to clean up our routine and up our difficulty level.
“It’s been awhile since Oak Harbor cheer has been to a state competition, and the team is excited to be back on the state championship mat.”
