The Oak Harbor High School tennis season started with a win as the Wildcats slipped by visiting Arlington 4-3 Tuesday, March 18.

The Oak Harbor High School tennis season started with a win as the Wildcats slipped by visiting Arlington 4-3 Tuesday, March 18.

Two wins in each of the singles and doubles competition did the trick for Oak Harbor.

McKenzie Perry (6-2, 6-2) and Faith Franssen (7-5, 6-2) captured first and fourth singles.

Caterina Amsler and Ellysa Bonganay pulled out a 6-0, 2-6, 6-4 win in second doubles; and Hannah Gluth and AnnaBelle Whitefoot teamed up to win third doubles 6-4, 6-0.

Zena Maria Husler (6-2, 6-4) and Jamie Estrella (6-2, 6-3) lost in singles action, and Chelsea Admire and Alyssa Eden fell in first doubles (4-6, 6-3, 6-4).

Oak Harbor welcomes Burlington-Edison (0-1) in another non-league match at 3:30 Thursday, March 20.
