The Oak Harbor High School girls golf team teed off the 2019 season by placing 13th in the 17-team Whidbey Shootout Tuesday, March 19, at the Whidbey Golf Club.

Mercer Island captured the team title with 367 strokes; Oak Harbor shot 474.

Jane Kim of Kamiak was medalist with a five-over 77.

Jenna Flores topped Oak Harbor, taking 40th out of 88 golfers with a 111.

Danalin Matro carded 115, Jessica Aguilar 117, Hannah Rogers 119, Natasha Decker 123 and Sara Rhodes 124.

The Wildcats face Arlington at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Gleneagle Golf Course.
