Oak Harbor teams finish 2nd to Eagles | Track

The boys and girls team scores were similar. In the boys meet, Arlington scored 75, Oak Harbor 50 and Getchell 16. For the girls, the Eagles had 78.5, Oak Harbor 52 and the Chargers 19.5.

The Wildcats collected 14 wins, eight from the girls.

Kaitlyn Chelberg (100 hurdles, 16.34; 300 hurdles, 49.64) and Claire Anderson (high jump, 4-08; triple jump, 31-01) were double individual winners. Alex Smith was first in the 3,200 (12:43.83) and second in the 800 (2:34.26).

Jenna Cooley won the long jump (15:01.75) and the 4×100 relay with Matti Miesle, Janae Payne and Amaya Rittierodt (51:31).

Miesle, Payne, Rittierodt and Alana Austin captured the 4×200 (1:47.04).

Samantha Hines was second in the 300 hurdles (45.69) and the 4×400 with Cooley, Austin and Deja Bunch (4:32.11).

On the boys side, Jared Gray won the 110 hurdles (15.78) and joined Daniel Guerrero, Andrew Miller and Jordan Washington on the winning 4×100 team (46). Gray was second in the 330 hurdles (41.72) and in the 4×400 with Josh Cote, Mac Nuanez and TJ Passmore (3:41.08).

Nuanez added a win in the 400 (52.97).

Ozell Jackson won the triple jump (39-08.5) and was second in the high jump (5-08) to teammate Kyle Nickols (5-10).

Joseph Noland (45-01.25) and Austin White (44-10.5) went 1-2 in the shot put, and White added a second in the discus (129-09). Tanner Walker placed second in the javelin (150-07).

Oak Harbor faces Stanwood at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Wildcat Memorial Stadium.
