Overcoming a first-set loss, the Oak Harbor High School volleyball team won 3-1 at Marysville-Pilchuck Tuesday, Oct. 9.
The Tomahawks (2-7) eked out a 28-26 win in the opening game, then the Wildcats rolled to 25-19, 25-21, 25-15 wins.
The Oak Harbor offense was led by Leielle Salinger with 19 kills. Cami Bristow added 15, Payton Parks 10 and Leah Quidachay eight. Annie Salinger handed out 29 assists and Quidachay 21.
Ceirra Dean paced the defense with 26 digs. Bristow and Quidachay recorded 16 each, and Maekaila Divinagracia and Parks had eight apiece. Parks, Leielle Salinger and Alexis SanAngelo all put up a block.
Oak Harbor (8-1) hosts Everett (6-3, 7-3) at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11.
