Remaining unbeaten in regular matches, the Oak Harbor High School boys golf team defeated three other schools at the Whidbey Golf Club Tuesday, March 31.

Remaining unbeaten in regular matches, the Oak Harbor High School boys golf team defeated three other schools at the Whidbey Golf Club Tuesday, March 31.

Oak Harbor finished with 452 strokes, Mountlake Terrace and Shorewood tied for second with 495 and Marysville Getchell shot 508.

“The scores were a little high,” Oak Harbor coach David Smith said. “It was a little windy and got cold quick.”

Wildcat Mason Dieter earned medalist honors for the second-straight match, shooting an 84 on the par-72 course.

Steven Timm, with a 41 on the back nine, carded an 87, good for third overall.

Aaron Kelley shot a 92, one stroke better than Caleb Brookshier.

Raiden Poe (96) and Ben Fikse (100) completed the Oak Harbor lineup.

Oak Harbor will play in the 14-team Tom Dolan Invitational at 1 p.m. Monday, April 13, at the Everett Golf and Country Club.

Beginning April 14, the Wildcats will play in six straight Wesco North matches.
